Project Capsule is a Windows beta built for practical project tracking. It is designed to help capture active work, preserve useful context, and turn messy project progress into records that are easier to resume, review, or present later.
Windows MSI installer. Beta software; expect changes between versions.
Workflow
Keep notes, task context, and decisions in one place instead of scattering them across chats, loose files, and temporary scratch notes.
Track what changed, what broke, what was tested, and what needs to happen next so projects are easier to resume later.
Turn active build work into cleaner documentation, project summaries, case-study notes, and portfolio-ready records.
Version change
V1 proved the basic workflow: capture project sessions, preserve context, and turn loose project work into next actions.
V2 focuses on making that workflow more operational. Actions are easier to trace back to their source sessions, source metadata is clearer, and the action board is better suited for cleanup after multiple work sessions.
Beta notes
The current beta is focused on the core desktop workflow: creating project records, capturing working notes, tracking next actions, and keeping enough project context in one place to reduce restart friction.
Future versions may expand the release flow, documentation export options, project templates, and stronger support for portfolio or case-study generation.
Release archive
V2 is the current beta. V1 is preserved as an earlier archived build to show iteration history without making it compete with the current release.
Current beta
Current Windows MSI with source-linked actions, clearer action review, compact source metadata, and a cleaner session-to-action workflow.
Archived beta
First usable beta. Preserved as release history for the earlier capture, context, and records workflow.
